Well, as a Greek, I have to disappoint you by informing you that apple bougatsa is an invention of this cafe and not a traditional thing at all 🤣However, I am sure it was delicious! The traditional one is with cream, found all over Greece (mostly the northern) and with soft white cheese, in Crete. Love your energy and I'm so happy you had a good time!

vraiment les Algériens et Algériennes je les aime. Je reconnais bien là leur éternel bonté et générosité du coeur totalement désintéressé, c'est pour ça que j'aime les Algériens. Chaque fois que j'ai eu des galères, ou des difficultés, c'est toujours des algériens qui m'ont aidé ou tendu la main et sans jamais rien attendre en retour. À cette époque où les gens sont devenus individualistes et égoïstes, ça fait vraiment du bien de voir qu'il reste encore un peuple si bienveillant, et avec le coeur sur la main. Sur ce sujet les algériens sont cohérents et constants. Ils ont peut-être du caractère, une forte tête, mais ils gardent des valeurs humaines qui font du bien à voir à notre époque. Des hommes, des vrais bonhommes.

Ugh, she kept saying just go to Athens for a day??! That is such a huge mistake!!! You get to see so so soooo little by only visiting for a day!! The amount of museums & galleries, eateries & restaurants & shopping alone should keep a visitor busy for days in Athens! You didn’t even get to see the coast (Vouliagmeni or Glufada), you didn’t get to see any of the nightlife (walking in the trendy Psirri area or relaxing at cafes in Plaka), you got zero time to visit world renowned sights (like the Acropolis) or museums (like the National Archeological museum, Acropolis museum, Benaki museum, Basil & Elise Goulandris museum or Hellenic Motor museum)… You got zero time to go enjoy a movie with English subtitles at the many outdoor roof cinemas like “Cine Paris”, you didn’t get to do a food tour or see the temple of Poseidon in Sounio… Instead you started the video in a part of town that all Greeks avoid like the plague (Omonia Square), which I guess if you are a tourist that doesn’t do their homework could end up checking out… Please devote more time and please try to avoid tourist traps that exist in the touristy section of town. You will discover more amazing food and experiences, and I say this with love, do not advise people to just visit for one day only one of the most ancient capitals of the world….
